Feb. 25, 2006 = Japanese pop at Shangri-La Plaza Mall
An evening of Japanese pop and light rock music is coming up in Manila
as part of the ongoing Philippine-Japan Friendship celebration. The
Japanese trio Core of Soul will play on February 25 (8.30pm) at
Streetscape in the Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong.
Core of Soul's Fukiko Nakamura (vocals), Song Rui (guitar and bass)
and Keisuke Iizuka (keyboards) – whose two albums and five singles are

introspective" – will be joined by Filipino acts Barbie Almalbis, Hale

There will be an accompanying showcase of posters, CDs and DVDs of
current J-Pop artists. Information: Japan Foundation Manila, phone
